Home Remedy for Dark Circles ~ Dark discoloration of the skin under the eye is mainly referred to as dark circles. It is also known as dark rings or shadows.

Some of the main causes behind the formation of dark circles are heredity, aging, dry skin, prolonged crying, working for long hours in front of a computer, mental or physical stress, lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet. Both men and women of different age groups can have dark circles.

Dark circles are not a serious skin problem, but they make people look tired, exhausted, unhealthy and older. You can easily get rid of unsightly shadows under your eyes using some easy home remedies.

1.Castor Oil
take 1 teaspoon of castor oil with a teaspoon of milk cream mix it well . Apply this under the area below the eyes in order to cure the problem of dark circles.

2.Cold milk:
Use cold milk to decrease dark circles under eye.
Take a cotton ball
place it in a bowl of cold milk or iced water for a while
Now apply the cotton ball making sure that it covers the entire eye with the affected area.
Keep it for a while and wash it . Do this regularly till dark circle disappears

3.Potato
Another effective remedy is Potato juice (grate potato to get some juice out of it) + raw milk in equal quantity. Apply under eyes for few days .

4.Cornflour
Mix same proportion of cornflour and yoghurt in a bowl, and apply this on the area, affected by dark circles. It will work like a charm on the dark circles.

5.Turmeric Paste
Make a paste of pineapple juice and turmeric powder. Use it on the regular basis to get rid of the dark circles fast.

6.Frozen Spoon
Put a spoon in a freezer. After some time, take it out and place it on the dark circles until it gets warm.
